My friend and I visited Lake View Cemetery on October 22. We were surprised and enthralled at the history, the architecture, and the ornate monuments. Highly recommended for visitors to Cleveland (and don't forget to include the Wade Chapel in your visit).

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Lake View, Larry. There are so many things you can learn about Cleveland's history just wandering around Lake View, and you're right about the Wade Chapel, with it's beautiful Tiffany windows and interior. In fact, I did a story and a photo feature about the chapel at my own blog http://bit.ly/s4N2hH and http://bit.ly/7mqwk9

how fascinating! next time we're in the area, we'll definitely have to explore.

Jessie-We really want to go back to explore more ourselves and were talking about trying for a spring trip when the flowers are in bloom.
